Fall/Winter Ice Hockey

Travel teams are for ages 9-14. Tryouts are required.

House/Rec teams are for ages 4-8. No tryout is needed.

Travel teams (Ages 9-14) begin in early September, and conclude at the end of February.

House/Rec teams (Ages 4-8) begin at the start of November, and conclude in mid-March

Travel teams (ages 9-14) practices and games are typically held at Ice House and American Dream.

House/Rec teams (ages 4-8) typically play games at Kips Bay Ice Rink, and practice at the Davis Center in Central Park.

We offer an alternate weekday practice option for Brooklyn players, at Aviator.

Teams will practice 1-2x per week, generally Tuesday evening, and Sunday.

Please refer to this page for an example of our age specific practice schedule from this past season. Note, this is directional information only and the schedule may not be the same next season, as our schedules are not finalized until the summer.

Travel teams (ages 9-14) will play 15-20 games.

House/Rec teams (ages 4-8) will play 8-12 games.

Each player is required to own 3 jerseys:

• Navy game jersey
• White game jersey
• Reversible practice jersey

Jerseys are not included in the cost of registration and must be purchased.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

• Jerseys (approx $330)
• Optional travel tournament (approx $350 plus hotel)
